Bag making Heritage Workshop. 18th & 25th November 2022 In partnership with HM Government, High Street Heritage action zone, Historic England, and Burnley.gov.uk.

Brand New Heritage Workshop Coming Soon!

Our much-anticipated Bag making workshop is almost here. The Heritage Skills workshops are run by our fantastic Heritage Action Team in collaboration with the Cultural Consortia for the HS HAZ.

The workshop consists of a two separate events on the 18th and 25th of November.

Heritage Workshop November 18th 2022

Discover the rich historic past of Lower St James Street in Burnley. Through photographic exploration of hidden details and architecture, collect images, trace and transform into a group collage.

Heritage Workshop November 25th 2022

Learn how to screen print your own images and designs onto a tote bag, create screen printed bunting and learn how to blanket stitch. Please note that the paint is designed to be fast to fabric and will not wash out of clothes, so we advise participants to wear old clothing or an apron.

This workshop is run by Tracy Howarth on behalf of the HSHAZ Team
